Marcus is a Brazilian-qualified lawyer with a master's degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex and over five years of international experience supporting individuals through immigration-related processes in the United States, Brazil, and Ireland. His background includes supporting asylum and permission-to-stay applications in a paralegal capacity, with a focus on preparation, documentation, and clear presentation of information.

Since moving to Ireland, Marcus has worked extensively as an interpreter and cultural mediator within the international protection system, supporting applicants in interview and appeal settings and helping them communicate clearly in high-stakes, formal environments.

At WorkplaceDisputes.ie, Marcus provides non-legal immigration support and advocacy, focusing on application preparation, document organisation, interview preparation, and procedural guidance. His approach is practical, structured, and client-centred, aimed at reducing avoidable errors and helping clients feel informed and confident throughout the process. He works with clients in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
